About Us
What is Real Guy Productions?
Real Guy Productions is a private, non-profit channel based near St. Louis, Missouri that specializes in family-friendly entertainment. We make a variety of videos such as comedy skits, animations, puppet shows, and even fan tributes to popular culture.
Who founded Real Guy Productions, and when?
The channel began around 2009 with a boy named Chase Green who loved watching TV shows, movies, and even online videos. One day, he started using his father's camera to make stop-motion animations, and then they gave him the opportunity to launch a YouTube channel of his own. With his parents' help, Chase launched a channel in late 2010 under the name his mother suggested - Real Guy Productions, based on a signature for a few of his childhood drawings. Since then, Chase has grown and matured throughout his time of making and posting videos as a hobby. Over the years, he has shared various videos just for the fun of it. Chase also has a part-time job as a library aide, which is separate from his video-making hobby.
As a kid with autism and OCD who faced some social struggles in school, despite many challenges, Chase has never given up and kept living his dreams of entertaining and connecting with people just for fun.
